2017 Second Semester

Dormitory Application Announcement


 

1. Invitation Target

A. Undergraduate students (1st Year ~ 4th Year in college / graduate school students)

B. Students who plan to be reinstated in the second semester of 2017

   (New Graduate school students should check article 4-D.)

 

2. Selection Criteria

A. We select students according to the Dormitory Operating Regulations 14-2 and 8.

 - In dormitory 3, graduate school students can get preferred selection.

B. Students are assigned as follows: Commuting distance 35%, Non-commuting distance 65%.

C. Target of preferred selection (with a score of 2.1 or higher / graduate school students : 3.1 or higher)

 - disabled students (over 4th degree) should submit supporting documents. (applies to 2 person room)

 

Supporting documents should be submitted by mail to office until July 7 (Fri), 2017.

3. Eligibility Restrictions

A. Those who have registered partially, taken non-credit enrollment, registered after graduating semester, received an academic warning

B. Those who have been expelled student by disciplinary action of the dormitory.

 

4. Application Period & how to apply

A. Application Period: June 19 (Mon), 2017, 10:00July 7 (Fri), 2017, ~17:00

C. Students should choose one dormitory (Dormitory 1 or 2 or 3) and apply.

Dormitory 1: 2 person room (public bathroom) 4 person room   

Dormitory 2: 2 person room (private bathroom, shower 2 person room (public bathroom)

                   4 person room (public bathroom)

Dormitory 3: 2 person room (private bathroom, shower) 3 person room (private bathroom, shower)

D. New students of the graduate school should download the application form and apply through the E-mail.

      E mail address : happydorm@inha.ac.kr

E-mail title should be “Dormitory 1 or 2 or 3 application for 2nd semester of 2017”

 

[NOTES]

a.    Students should check parents’ address and zip code(5 numbers) on portal system. If zip code is incorrect, you cannot apply for the dorm. (For changing to correct zip code, please visit to department office.)

b.    If there’s no HANA bank account number on portal system, you cannot apply for dormitory.

You should open a bank account at HANA bank.

c.    Students should check your contact number on portal system. We are going to send an SMS about results and payment.

d.    The students who have sleep disturbing factor such as snoring, teeth grinding can’t enter the dormitory.

e.    Students should submit the test results for tuberculosis on check-in date after getting TB test at a local public health center. (the test result must be issued after August, 2017)

è except students who already submitted it after 2016-winter vacation

f.     Recipients of dormitory expenses support also apply in person.

g.    There is no smoking room and no curfew (open 24hours) in the Dormitory 3

If there are students with disability, 2 person room(public, private bathroom) is assigned to disabled students first.

- Dormitory 1: Includes vacancies (2 person room (public bathroom)) for 2 disabled males & 1 disabled females.

- Dormitory 2: Includes vacancies (2 person room (private bathroom)) for 4 disabled males & 2 disabled females.

The number of recruitment can be changed upon applications of preferred selection students.

6. Boarding expenses (Period: 25th Aug. ~ 17th Dec. / for 2 semester except for winter vacation)

Food expenses are including breakfast on weekdays (Determined through survey)

- Lunch and dinner on weekdays and every meal on weekends and holidays must be purchased individually.

 

7. Results Announcement

- Announcement scheduled for July. 17 (Mon), 2017 after 11:00

Dormitory selection is only announced through the INHA University & Dormitory web-page.

(There is no individual notification.)

(However, new graduate school students shall be notified by email.)

 

8. Payment of boarding expenses

- Payment period runs from July. 18 (Tue) ~ 20 (Thu), 2017

The announcement date is subject to change depending on the academic plan.

 

9. Check-in Days

New residents may move into the dormitory from Aug. 25(Fri), 9:00 ~ 26 (Sat), 17:00, 2017
